Seven-Year Expansion Project Completed 2018ĬASINO: A new High Limit Gaming Area is 15,415-square-feet with 80 new slots machines and eight high limit tables games. Over the following years Viejas Casino expanded its gaming to 2,500 slot machines and 50 table games and added two hotels. Viejas Bingo moved inside the Viejas Casino in 1994.
It was preceded in 1977 by the Viejas Bingo Room which operated in the nearby Ma Tar Awa RV Park. The casino first opened September 13, 1991. Viejas Casino is an Indian gaming casinoo owned by the Viejas Band of the Kumeyaay Indian Nation.
