“We are just really happy this came back to Vee Quiva and the Community.” Now we came back and rebuilt the whole room, made it better, made it look nicer,” said Nick Dorsey, Director of Facilities at Vee Quiva.
“When COVID-19 hit this room went away, and it was all slot machines, and we basically got rid of everything. However, since then Gila River Resorts, & Casinos – Vee Quiva used this time to renovate the Bingo Hall and have waited for the Bingo Club to return. The decision to cancel was due to the COVID-19 restrictions placed in the Community, preventing large gatherings from occurring. In 2020, Gila River Resorts & Casinos canceled all bingo games and events.
Casino employees were eager to host new and familiar faces.īright, jubilant sighs filled the newly renovated Bingo Hall at Vee Quiva as Community elders listened to their peers shout out, “Bingo!” On April 28, Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Vee Quiva hosted the return of Bingo with ‘Elder Bingo’ from 12:00 p.m.
